My interest in photography began after rescuing the old family camera (a Pentax Super A SLR) from it’s pending disappearance off the garage sale table as the digital camera revolution began to dominate.
Experimenting with film and winning the international Oceanz under 21 portfolio competition in 2000 fuelled my interest in photography even more.
I have since completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts Degree from the University of Auckland before returning back to the Bay of Plenty.
Now embracing digital camera technology I love the thrill of being able to capture that elusive moment in time, from some ones special day, recreation and sports events to capturing the way light hits a certain object or wondering along a deserted beach.
I have undertaken a number of landscape expeditions, industrial & event documentaries and wedding photography that have contributed to my experience and fascination with the subject.
